About the Painting
Tower of Flower is a meditation on aspiration, silence, and the enduring strength of the desert. Rising from the earth like a living monument, the flowering cactus becomes a symbol of steadfastness—a reminder that true greatness is achieved not through force, but through quiet perseverance.
I have never believed that I paint landscapes. I believe I paint portraits of daimons that manifest themselves as cacti—ancient guardians entrusted with preserving the beauty and timelessness of the desert. Their towering forms stand as silent witnesses to generations of wind, light, and passing seasons.
In Tower of Flower, blossoms crown the cactus like a constellation of light, transforming a familiar desert form into something both earthly and transcendent. The painting invites us to pause, to listen to the silence, and to discover that stillness itself can be a profound source of wisdom.
